NOVELTY - An aluminum-based composite material cylinder comprises a cylinder wall comprising an inner layer including a wall material and an annular reinforcing rib projecting from the wall material to the inside of the cylinder. The inner layer comprises boron carbide particles and graphene mixed reinforced aluminum-based composite material. The outer layer is metallurgically bonded to the outside of the inner layer. The outer layer is silicon carbide particles reinforced aluminum-based composite material. USE - Aluminum-based composite material cylinder for underwater vehicle. ADVANTAGE - The aluminum-based composite material cylinder has outer layer with high strength and high modulus to resist deep water pressure change shape. The inner layer has good plasticity, which is conducive to form a barrel with ribs, and the inner layer material is not directly in contact with seawater, thus having proper strength and rigidity to meet the requirements of use. The inner layer uses low-density boron carbide and graphene as reinforcement phases, which can further reduce the density of the cylinder and facilitate the lightweight of the underwater vehicle.
