NOVELTY - Potassium-magnesium titanate, where the molecular formula is K0.8Mg0.4Ti1.6O4, the diffraction peak at a 2 theta angular position of the XRD pattern of 11.2 plus minus 0.3 degrees and 29.2 plus minus 0.3 degrees , and the peak of the diffraction peak having the 2 theta angle of 29.2 plus minus 0.3 degrees is stronger than the peak intensity of the diffraction peak having the 2 theta angle of 11.2 plus minus 0.3 degrees , is claimed. USE - Used as potassium-magnesium titanate. ADVANTAGE - The titanate ensures excellent stability and less than 10% fading rate. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing the potassium-magnesium titanate, comprising mixing magnesium-containing compound, titanium-containing compound, potassium-containing compound and graphene in a blender, where the magnesium-containing compound is based on magnesium oxide, the titanium-containing compound is based on titanium oxide, the potassium-containing compound is potassium oxide, the graphene is carbon, the molar ratio of the mixture of potassium oxide, magnesium oxide, titanium oxide and carbon is (0.95-1.05):1:4:(0.15-0.30), sintering at 900-1200 degrees C for 0.5-2 hours, and crushing; and (2) friction material, comprising potassium-magnesium titanate.
