NOVELTY - Graphene/graphene oxide coated composite electrode comprises an electrode loaded with active material with dispersion of graphene oxide, and a composite electrode in which graphene oxide is coated on the surface of the active material. The composite electrode coated with oxidized graphene on the surface of the active material is subjected to calcination to obtain composite electrode in which graphene is coated on the surface of the active material. USE - The composite electrode is useful for lithium/lithium ion battery, sodium/sodium ion battery, potassium/potassium ion battery, zinc/zinc ion battery, magnesium/magnesium ion battery, calcium/calcium ion battery and aluminum/aluminum ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and suitable for continuous operation and mass production. The electrode has wide use value and popularization value. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing graphene/graphene oxide coated composite electrode, comprising (i) dispersing the graphene oxide in water, adding surface tension modifier, and stirring or super-sonicating to obtain dispersion, and (ii) contacting the electrode loaded with the active material into contact with the dispersion, and drying to obtain electrode having surface closely packed with the graphene oxide cover layer; and (2) a battery, comprising graphene/graphene oxide coated composite electrode.
