NOVELTY - Preparing porous graphene activated carbon material, comprises (1) under hydrothermal conditions, treating biomass material using oxidizing agent and weak acid or its salt to obtain intermediate product, (2) under an inert atmosphere, pyrolyzing the intermediate product at high temperature to obtain final product, where the oxidizing agent is hydrogen peroxide, chlorate, perchlorate, nitrate, permanganate or chlorine water, the weak acid is acetic acid, carbonic acid, hydrofluoric acid, hypochlorous acid, nitrous acid or organic acid, the salt is nitrate, sulfate or hydrochloric acid salt. USE - The porous graphene activated carbon material is useful in energy storage device i.e. super capacitor (claimed); energy storage and conversion, electro-catalysis, biological sensing and environmental purification fields. ADVANTAGE - The carbon material: has high graphitization degree, high specific surface area, rich mesoporous and micropores porosity, unique layered structure and heteroatomic doping characteristics. The material is used in super capacitor, the electrochemical test results shows, compared with common activated carbon material used in super capacitor, this material shows capacity is 4.5 times more than the common activated carbon material.
