NOVELTY - Preparation of multi-aperture graphene membrane comprises irradiating graphene film having crystal lattice defects through energy beam, and disrupting when carbon bonds with crystal lattice defects. The and controlling size of aperture is controlled by adjusting concentration of lattice defects and/or irradiation intensity of energy beam. USE - Method for preparation of multi-aperture graphene membrane used for gas separation device (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and suitable for large-scale industrial production, and it has low cost. The gas separation device has strong selectivity and high permeability, and hydrogen/nitrogen gas separation factor of up to 260 at room temperature. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a gas separation device comprising porous substrate adhered on one side with multi-aperture graphene membrane as gas separation membrane.
