NOVELTY - Preparing sodium alginate/sodium polyacrylate/graphene oxide composite fiber comprises adding sodium polyacrylate powder and graphene oxide aqueous dispersion into sodium alginate aqueous solution, fully stirring and mixing to obtain spinning stock solution, degassing, extruding, solidifying, and stretching to obtain nascent composite fibers, and placing the nascent composite fiber into the glutaraldehyde solution for dipping and crosslinking. USE - The method is useful in the preparation of surgical suture line (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a sodium alginate/sodium polyacrylate/oxidized graphene composite fiber prepared by above method.
