NOVELTY - Preparing lithium iron phosphate carbon coating material comprises (i) heating to chemical sludge to obtain pre-treated sludge, (ii) mixing the pre-treated sludge with lithium source, carbon source, phosphorus source and drying to obtain precursor powder and (iii) thermally reducing and sintering the precursor powder to obtain final product. USE - The lithium iron phosphate carbon coating material is useful in anode slurry and lithium-ion battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: recovers and reuses the phosphorus resources rich in sludge; realizes high-value resource utilization of sludge. The lithium iron phosphate carbon coating material: has excellent cycle performance.
