NOVELTY - A polyamide molding compound comprises 22-70 wt.% partially crystalline copolyamide (a), 30-70 wt.% at least one filler (b) and 0-8 wt.% at least one additive (c) different from component (b). The partially crystalline copolyamide (a) comprises 20-37.5 mol% 1,6-hexanediamine (a1), 12.5-25 mol% 1,3-bis(aminomethyl)cyclohexane (a2), 0-5 mol% 2-35C diamine (a3) different from monomers (a1) and (a2), 45-50 mol% 1,6-hexanedioic acid (a4) and 0-5 mol% at least one 2-44C dicarboxylic acid (a5) different from monomer (a4). USE - Polyamide molding compound used for forming molded articles in production of unpainted visible portions of vehicle interior, trunk, household, mechanical engineering component, electrical devices, electronic devices, household articles, furniture, fan blades, gearshift levers, rocker switches, buttons, rotary controls, handles, controls for seat adjustment, controls on steering column, control levers, controls, drawers, holders for additional devices, cup holders, luggage hooks, covers, light switches, razor heads, scissor parts, threaded rods, insulin pumps, housings and decorative elements (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The polyamide molding compound provides molded article having excellent mechanical properties.
