NOVELTY - A perylene quaternary ammonium salt-graphene composite antibacterial agent comprises graphene, perylene tetracarboxylic acid diimide derivative (I) on the surface of graphene through π-π conjugation, and at least one alkane-containing quaternary ammonium functional group grafted on the compound (I). USE - Perylene quaternary ammonium salt-graphene composite antibacterial agent. ADVANTAGE - The antibacterial agent uses the perylene tetracarboxylic acid diimide derivative, graphene and high molecular weight quaternary ammonium salt, which are easily dispersed in various medium and grafted with high concentration, has excellent antibacterial activity and is environmentally-friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A perylene quaternary ammonium salt-graphene composite antibacterial agent comprises graphene, perylene tetracarboxylic acid diimide derivative of formula (I) on the surface of graphene through π-π conjugation, and at least one alkane-containing quaternary ammonium functional group grafted on the compound (I). n = 1-12;and R1-R4= 1-10C alkyl, 1-10C haloalkyl, 2-10C alkenyl, 2-10C haloalkenyl, 2-10C alkynyl, 2-10C haloalkynyl, 6-20C aryl or 6-20C haloaryl. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the perylene quaternary ammonium salt-graphene composite antibacterial agent, which involves mixing and grinding (a) the compound (I), graphite derivative and alkaline compounds, adding quaternized ammonium modifier, grinding (b), washing to neutral, filtering and drying.
