NOVELTY - Preparing graphene-based multilayer porous carbon material by ion-thermal method involves mixing a carbon source, an oxidized graphene and an ionic liquid in the mass ratio of 100:5:1 and reacting the components at the reaction temperature of 150-200 degrees C for 8-25 hours to obtain the precursor. The precursor is thoroughly washed with deionized water and dried. The precursor is then mixed with the alkali metal hydroxide according to the mass ratio of 1:7 and the mixture is sonicated, filtered and dried to obtain carbon precursor. USE - Method for preparing graphene-based multilayer porous carbon material by ion-thermal method used as electrode material in supercapacitor or lithium secondary battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare graphene-based multilayer porous carbon material by ion-thermal method in simple and eco-friendly manner and the product has high practicability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene-based multilayer porous carbon material by ion-thermal method involves mixing a carbon source, an oxidized graphene and an ionic liquid in the mass ratio of 100:5:1 and reacting the components at the reaction temperature of 150-200 degrees C for 8-25 hours to obtain the precursor. The precursor is thoroughly washed with deionized water and dried. The precursor is then mixed with the alkali metal hydroxide according to the mass ratio of 1:7 and the mixture is sonicated, filtered and dried to obtain carbon precursor. The carbon precursor is heated in a tubular furnace under the protection of an inert gas. The temperature of the furnace is raised with the speed of 1-5 degrees C/minute to reach the heat treatment temperature of 500-950 degrees C for 4 hours to obtain the activated product. The activated product is neutralized by pickling and washing with deionized water. The product is then dried and ground to obtain the target product.
