▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Nanoparticle (1) comprises a core (2) and a graphene coating (3). The core contains iron oxide. USE - The nanoparticle is useful: in an imaging method which is MRI or magnetic particle imaging; for the localized induction of hyperthermia; and for the detection, analysis and/or separation of cells, protein and/or nucleic acids (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The nanoparticle: is superparamagnetic, and exhibits a magnetization of greater than 120 emu/g (all claimed); and improves sensitivity as well as temporal and spatial resolution in the imaging modalities. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for the production of the nanoparticle comprising co-precipitating the iron oxide and graphene. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The figure shows a schematic view of the nanoparticle. Nanoparticle (1) Core (2) Graphene coating (3) Additional layer (4) Protein (5)
