NOVELTY - Manufacturing an epoxy-based anti-corrosion coating containing modified graphene, comprises dispersing graphene in a solvent consisting of xylene, ethylbenzene, naphtha and butanol-1 at concentrations of 50-150 ppm under ultrasonic conditions and mixing with epoxy resin so that the amount of modified graphene present in epoxy resin is 0. 0.01 mass% Before mixing with amine or polyamine curing agents showed effective dispersion of graphene in paints. USE - The process is useful for manufacturing an epoxy-based anti-corrosion coating containing modified graphene. ADVANTAGE - The process provides corrosion-resistant epoxy-based coating containing modified graphene that shows excellent surface protection with superior corrosion resistance and improved mechanical strength.
