NOVELTY - Graphene oxide nanosheet is dispersed in ethanol, tin tetrachloride and antimony trichloride are added to resulting solution, and stirred to obtain mixed solution. Alkali is added to mixed solution, reacted, filtered, dried, ground and obtained powder is calcined to obtain antimony-tin oxide-graphene powder. Chloroplatinic acid in ethylene glycol solution is heated to obtain platinum sol-gel. Antimony-tin oxide-graphene powder is dissolved in ethanol is mixed with platinum sol-gel, acid is added, and dried to obtain platinum-antimony-doped tin dioxide-graphene catalyst. USE - Preparation of platinum-antimony-doped tin dioxide-graphene catalyst used for anode of direct methanol fuel cell. ADVANTAGE - The method economically provides platinum-antimony-doped tin dioxide-graphene catalyst having excellent electrocatalytic oxidation performance, and carbon monoxide poisoning resistance, by a simple process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Graphene oxide nanosheet is dispersed in absolute ethanol, tin tetrachloride and antimony trichloride are added to the resulting solution, heated at 40-80 degrees C, stirred for 45-90 minutes till the solution is dissolved completely to obtain mixed solution. Alkali is added to the mixed solution to adjust the pH of the solution. The resulting mixture is reacted at 5-10 degrees C for 1-5 hours, washed, filtered, dried and ground to powder. The powder is calcined at 500-800 degrees C for 2-4 hours to obtain antimony-tin oxide-graphene powder. Chloroplatinic acid in ethylene glycol solution is heated at 120-160 degrees C for 0.5-2 hours, under protection of inert gas atmosphere, to obtain platinum sol-gel. Antimony-tin oxide-graphene powder is dissolved in absolute ethanol to obtain antimony-tin oxide-graphene suspension. The suspension is mixed with platinum sol-gel, acid is added to adjust pH of solution to 4-7, filtrate is washed till the filtrate is free from chloride ion, and dried to obtain platinum-antimony-doped tin dioxide-graphene catalyst. The content of platinum in platinum-antimony-doped tin dioxide-graphene catalyst is 10-30 %mass. The molar ratio of antimony and tin is 1:10-1:50. The molar ratio of tin tetrachloride to antimony trichloride 1:5-1:50.
