NOVELTY - Preparing nitrogen, and bromine co-doped graphene quantum dot material comprises (a) dispersing and uniformly mixing sodium azide and hexabromobenzene in a liquid to obtain reaction precursor and then carrying out drying treatment, and (b) placing the completely dried reaction precursor mixture in a closed reactor filled with inert gas, heating the reactor for inducing a deflagration reaction, and purifying to obtain graphene quantum dot material. USE - The method is useful for preparing nitrogen, and bromine co-doped graphene quantum dot material. ADVANTAGE - The method: improves luminous efficiency; has extremely high fluorescence luminescence stability in a wide pH environment range; emits bright yellow fluorescence; reduces the difficulty of preparing graphene quantum dots; shortens the preparation time.
