NOVELTY - High-entropy single-atom catalyst includes at least five metal components and a graphene-like carbon material. The various metal components are uniformly supported in the graphene-like carbon material in the form of single atoms. USE - High-entropy single-atom catalyst for high-efficiency electrocatalysis, organic catalysis or biological diagnosis and treatment (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The high-entropy single-atom catalyst has improved oxygen reduction catalytic activity DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing a high-entropy single-atom catalyst involves dissolving the carbon template precursor and various metal precursors in an acidic solution to obtain a first mixed solution, evaporating first mixed solution to dryness by means of vacuum distillation and then roasting in a muffle furnace to obtain a mixed metal precursor, and using five metal precursors, dissolving the mixed metal precursor and the carbon-coated precursor in a buffer solution to obtain a second mixed solution, filtering and drying second mixed solution, and then calcining in a tube furnace to obtain a high-entropy single-atom catalyst.
