NOVELTY - Preparation of polyacrylonitrile/reduced graphene oxide composite oil-absorbing material involves cutting polyacrylonitrile fiber into 3-5 mm fiber, adding cut fiber to a crusher, uniformly dispersing, mixing graphene oxide, reducing agent and distilled water, obtaining reduced graphene oxide aqueous solution, mixing the polyacrylonitrile fiber with the reduced graphene oxide aqueous solution, ultrasonically processing for 10-30 minutes, adding obtained paste-like polyacrylonitrile/reduced graphene oxide dispersion to a container, sealing the container, placing in an oven, hydrothermally treating at 80 plus minus 20 degrees C for 3-8 hours, then naturally cooling, washing cooled product with distilled water, placing in a refrigerator, freezing at -40 plus minus 15 degrees C for 6-12 hours, and then drying in a freeze dryer. USE - Preparation of polyacrylonitrile/reduced graphene oxide composite oil-absorbing material used in oil spills. ADVANTAGE - The method enables economical preparation of polyacrylonitrile/reduced graphene oxide lightweight composite oil-absorbing material with high saturated oil absorption rate and reproducibility, fast oil absorption rate, and stable structure, by simple process.
