NOVELTY - Method for preparing functionalized graphene composite material involves (a) adding graphene oxide to thionyl chloride, mixing, adding catalyst dimethyl formamide (DMF) to it, heating and refluxing for reaction, filtering, washing and drying the reaction product, (b) adding graphene oxide chloride and polyethyleneimine into carbon tetrachloride solvent, stirring, adding sodium carbonate to it, heating and stirring to react, filtering, washing, drying, (c) dispersing aminated graphene oxide in deionized water, adding carbon disulfide, and stirring, filtering the reaction product, washing, and drying, (d) adding the dithioamino-modified graphene oxide into the zinc nitrate solution, vibrating and adsorbing, filtering, washing and drying, (e) premixing dithioaminozinc salt modified graphene oxide, polypropylene resin, polycarbonate resin, stearic acid and isobutyltriethoxysilane, and extruding and granulating through an extruder to obtain the product. USE - The method is used for preparing functionalized graphene composite material (claimed) used in clothes, blanket and other fiber products, medical appliance, automobile, bicycle, parts, conveying pipeline and chemical container. ADVANTAGE - The method has improved interfacial compatibility between graphene oxide and resin, improves the dispersion performance of graphene oxide in the resin, improves the mechanical properties of the composite material, improves the thermal conductivity of the composite material, plays the role of catalyzing carbon formation instantaneously, achieves excellent flame retardancy, and reduces the concentration of oxygen and work together with zinc salts to further improve the flame retardant effect of the composite material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method for preparing functionalized graphene composite material involves (a) adding graphene oxide to thionyl chloride, mixing, adding catalyst dimethyl formamide (DMF) to it, heating and refluxing for reaction, after the reaction is completed, filtering, washing and drying the reaction product to obtain acyl chloride graphene oxide, (b) adding graphene oxide chloride and polyethyleneimine into carbon tetrachloride solvent, stirring evenly, adding sodium carbonate to it, heating and stirring to react, after the reaction is completed, filtering, washing, drying to obtain aminated graphene oxide, (c) dispersing aminated graphene oxide in deionized water, adjusting the pH of the solution to 10-12, adding carbon disulfide, and stirring the reaction at room temperature, subsequently, filtering the reaction product, washing, and drying to obtain dithioamino-modified graphene oxide, (d) adding the dithioamino-modified graphene oxide into the zinc nitrate solution, vibrating and adsorbing for 3-5 hours, filtering, washing and drying to obtain the dithioamino zinc salt-modified graphene oxide, (e) premixing dithioaminozinc salt modified graphene oxide, polypropylene resin, polycarbonate resin, stearic acid and isobutyltriethoxysilane at 100-120°C for 10-15 minutes, and extruding and granulating through an extruder to obtain the product. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a functionalized graphene composite material obtained by the above-mentioned method.
