NOVELTY - Thermal insulation product comprises cement matrix and graphene-modified polystyrene particles having particle size of less than or equal to 2 mm and are dispersed in cement matrix. The graphene-modified polystyrene particles are obtained by melt extrusion of graphene and polystyrene resin at weight ratio of 1:(1.5-6) in presence of alkane foaming agent. USE - Thermal insulation product. ADVANTAGE - The thermal insulation product has bulk density of 500-730 kg/m3, compressive strength of 4.5-9 MPa, thermal conductivity of 0.035-0.045 W/m.K, volume water absorption rate of less than or equal to 10%, and fire rating of A1. It has improved strength and thermal insulation properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of thermal insulation product by melt-blending polystyrene resin and graphene at 120-150 degrees C; adding alkane foaming agent; extruding and granulating to obtain graphene-modified polystyrene particles; uniformly mixing cement, fly ash and graphene modified polystyrene particles to obtain premix; adding cement foaming agent, foam stabilizer, early strength agent, water-reducing agent, and water to premix; uniformly stirring to obtain slurry; pouring slurry into mold; forming into foam; and releasing to obtain thermal insulation product.
