NOVELTY - The preparation of bamboo charcoal/molybdenum sulfide composite cathode material involves mixing bamboo charcoal, graphene, and nickel nitrate, calcining, pickling, suction filtering, washing, drying to obtain activated modified bamboo charcoal, dispersing activated modified bamboo charcoal in deionized water, adding molybdenum source and sulfur source, stirring to dissolve, carrying out hydrothermal reaction, cooling resulting product, suction filtering, washing, and drying. USE - Preparation of bamboo charcoal/molybdenum sulfide composite cathode material used in preparation of lithium-ion battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of bamboo charcoal/molybdenum sulfide composite cathode material with high electrochemical performance, and effectively maintains discharge capacity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) bamboo charcoal/molybdenum sulfide composite cathode material; and (2) usage of bamboo charcoal/molybdenum sulfide composite cathode material in preparation of lithium-ion battery.
