NOVELTY - A graphene-based lubricating oil additive comprises 2-10 %mass graphene or graphene oxide, 1-20 %mass molybdenum disulfide nanomaterial, 29-40 %mass ionic liquid, 40-59 %mass dispersant and 5-10 %mass wear resisting agent. USE - Graphene-based additive used in lubricating oil (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The lubricating oil additive has stable dispersibility, excellent friction resistance and wear resistance, and is economically prepared by a green, environmentally-friendly and easy method in batches. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of lubricating oil additive, which involves (s1) adding graphene or graphene oxide, molybdenum disulfide nanomaterial, ionic liquid, dispersant and wear resisting agent into a ball mill, adding ethanol, introducing liquid nitrogen into the ball mill for pre-cooling, and ball milling, and (s2) filtering the obtained material, and removing ethanol in the filter liquid.
