NOVELTY - The method involves dissolving sodium alginate or potassium alginate and graphite in water solvent, where mass percent of sodium alginate and the graphite is 0.4-4 and 36-39.6 and calcium impurity content in the sodium alginate or potassium alginate is lesser than equal to 0.3%. The dissolved sodium alginate and graphite are uniformly stirred to obtain graphene slurry, where total mass percent of the graphene slurry in the water solvent is 60. The graphene slurry is dried. The dried graphene slurry is covered on a surface of a current collector to obtain a graphite electrode sheet. USE - Method for preparing a graphene electrode sheet of an electrochemical capacitor (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables distributing sodium salt, carboxyl group and chain-shaped structure alginate on a graphene sheet layer in a uniform manner for forming a chemical bond so as to improve bonding force, conductivity of the graphene sheet and improve magnification capability of the graphene sheet, so that reaction activity between alginate and an electrolyte is reduced and resistance of the electrolyte is improved, thus reducing cathode active substance granule surface irreversible loss and improving circulation property of an electrochemical battery.
