NOVELTY - A cathode slurry comprises a liquid (A) containing a positive electrode active material (a), a positive electrode additive, and a conductive material, and having a viscosity at 25± 1° C of 5000-8000 cps, and a liquid (B) containing a positive electrode active material (b) and a binder and having a viscosity at 25± 1° C of 8000-10000 cps when the liquid (A, B) are mixed. The positive electrode additive contains a lithium-cobalt-based oxide. USE - Cathode slurry used for forming positive electrode for lithium secondary battery used as power source for electric vehicles. ADVANTAGE - The cathode slurry has excellent stability, suppressed side reactions by minimizing the loss of positive electrode additive, in which the positive electrode additive having excellent dispersibility, workability, the electrode has excellent electrical property and the battery having excellent lifespan characteristics, safety and stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A cathode slurry comprises a liquid (A) containing a positive electrode active material (a), a positive electrode additive, and a conductive material, and having a viscosity at 25± 1° C of 5000-8000 cps, and a liquid (B) containing a positive electrode active material (b) and a binder and having a viscosity at 25± 1° C of 8000-10000 cps when the liquid (A, B) are mixed. The positive electrode additive contains a lithium-cobalt-based oxide of formula: LipCo(1-q)M1qO4, where M1is at least one element selected from tungsten, copper, iron, vanadium, chromium, titanium, zirconium, zinc, aluminum, indium, tantalum, yttrium, lanthanum, strontium, gallium, scandium, gadolinium, samarium, calcium, cesium, niobium, magnesium, boron and molybdenum, p is 5-7 and q is 0-0.5.
