NOVELTY - A ternary composite gel-based quasi-solid electrolyte comprises gelling agent and liquid iodine-based electrolyte, where the gelling agent comprises 2-10 wt.% polymer, 2-10 wt.% nano inorganic compound and 2-10 wt.% graphene. USE - Ternary composite gel-based quasi-solid electrolyte for dye-sensitized solar cell. ADVANTAGE - The electrolyte can be prepared with improved performance and better effect of simplifying battery assembling process and reducing assembly time, in a simple manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing a ternary composite gel-based quasi-solid electrolyte.
