▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A deep metastable emulsion (DME) of two-dimensional material (2DM) is prepared by (S1) dispersing 2DM in a solvent X which comprises water or is miscible in water; (S2.1) adding and mixing a further solvent Y which is immiscible in solvent Z and miscible in solvent X, or (S2.2) adding and mixing a further solvent Y, where solvents X and/or Y comprise further solvent T, which is miscible in solvent X and solvent Y, and solvent Y is immiscible in water and immiscible in solvent X, but where solvent Y in combination with solvent T is miscible in solvent X; and (S3) adding and mixing solvent Z if solvent X does not comprise or does not comprise enough solvent Z for DME formation. Composition resulting from step (S2.1), (S2.2), or (S3) forms a three-phase system having a DME middle phase comprising the 2DM; and DME middle phase remains stable at room temperature and atmospheric pressure for greater than or equal to 1 week. USE - Preparation of deep metastable emulsion (DME) of two-dimensional material (2DM) and sterically stabilized suspension (SSS) of 2DM for production of inks particularly for printed electronics, three-dimensional (3D) printing inks, electronic devices, structural composites, coatings, paintings, conductive electrodes, batteries, supercapacitors, solar cells, fuel cells, detectors, sensors, drug delivery devices, thermal conductors, thermal barriers, and microwave shields, and for production of electronic devices, particularly electronic devices comprising conductors, semiconductors, or insulators made from DME and/or SSS (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The methods and products can be reproduced for essentially all 2DMs and do not require any specific solvent system for DME and/or SSS formation and stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) DME of 2DM; and (2) sterically stabilized suspension (SSS) of 2DM.
