NOVELTY - A graphene coating material comprises graphene and/or functionalized graphene. The functionalized graphene includes aminated graphene, carboxylated graphene, cyano graphene, nitrated graphene, borate-based graphene, phosphated graphene, hydroxylated graphene, mercapto graphene, methylated graphene, allylated graphene, trifluoromethylated graphene, dodecylated graphene, octadecylated graphene, graphene oxide, fluorinated graphene, brominated graphene, chlorinated graphene and iodinated graphene. USE - Graphene coating material is used in air filter for filter system (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The air filter provided with a filter layer comprising the graphene coating material has improved adsorption rate of harmful substances in air, and avoids secondary pollution caused by the lack of adsorption. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of graphene coating material, which involves adding a dispersant and a binder in a solvent, stirring, adding graphene powder, stirring, applying the resultant solution on the surface of the carrier, homogenizing and drying; and (2) air filter, which comprises a filter layer comprising the graphene coating material.
