USE - Diatomite medium hole nanometer material. ADVANTAGE - The diatomite medium hole nanometer material has good purification effect and long service life. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing diatomite medium hole nanometer material, which involves: (A) dissolving 0.5 pts. wt. diatomaceous earth in 250 pts. wt. water and sodium hydroxide solution in a three-neck flask; (B) heating the resulting solution at 60 degrees C with stirring for 0.5 hours; (C) dispersing the material in anhydrous toluene in nitrogen protection atmosphere in a three-necked flask at 110 degrees C for 0.5 hours; and (D) refluxing the resulting mixture for 12 hours to form the diatomite medium hole nanometer material.
