NOVELTY - A composite negative electrode material comprises 5-30 nm titanium dioxide nanoparticles, and 30-60 wt.% graphene nanoribbons. The graphene nanoribbons have width of 10-100 nm and average thickness of 1-10 nm. USE - Composite negative electrode material. ADVANTAGE - The composite negative electrode material is simple and has first reversible capacity of 375.75 mAh/g after 100 cycles, reversible capacity of 320.8-8000 mAh/g and 206.7 mAh/g, and excellent electrochemical performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of negative electrode material comprising mixing raw materials, adding 0.1-0.5 mg/mL organic solvent, ultrasonically dispersing, adding titanium source and water, heat-refluxing, centrifugally separating, washing precipitate, filtering, and drying to obtain solid powder; and calcining under protective atmosphere, and cooling.
