NOVELTY - Preparing sulfide electrode material involves: (S1) forming a polydopamine layer on a surface of a current collector; (S2) forming a transition metal sulfide layer on the polydopamine layer; and (S3) placing the current collector formed with the polydopamine layer and the transition metal sulfide layer in a mixed solution containing dopamine hydrochloride and graphene oxide, hydrothermally reacting, and then annealing in an inert gas. USE - The method is useful for preparing sulfide electrode material, which is useful for lithium battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides sulfide electrode material, which covers the surface of transition metal sulfide due to the porous graphene doped with nitrogen to stabilize the electrode material, avoid the collapse of the material structure of the active material in the process of deintercalating lithium, and inhibit the sulfide ion shuttle effect, which is beneficial to the long-term cycle of lithium-ion battery.
