NOVELTY - Method of growing cauliflower-like cobalt hydroxide-nickel (Co (OH)2-Ni) on carbon cloth surface comprises adding 0.0075- 0.0225 g graphene oxide into 30 ml deionized water filled with carbon cloth; ultrasonically dispersing to obtain uniform solution; respectively adding 0.1454-0.2908 g cobalt chloride hexahydrate and 0.0589-0.1178 g nickel chloride hexahydrate to uniform solution; ultrasonically dispersing to obtain uniform dispersionl putting solution into polytetrafluoroethylene lining in high-pressure kettle; sealing and reacting for 4-12 hours at 150-180degrees Celsius; taking out carbon cloth; and washing and drying to obtain cobalt hydroxide-nickel/reduced graphene oxide/carbon cloth (Co(OH)2-Ni/rGO/CC) material. USE - The method is used for growing cauliflower-like cobalt hydroxide-nickel on carbon cloth surface to obtain cobalt hydroxide-nickel/reduced graphene oxide/carbon cloth (Co(OH)2-Ni/rGO/CC) material useful as sensing material, battery cathode material, catalyst, gas sensitive material, magnetic material, or electrochemical sensor electrode material. ADVANTAGE - The method is low cost, simple and easy to operate. The prepared Co (OH)2-Ni/rGO/CC material has short detection response time, has high sensitivity, and has excellent electrochemical performance.
