NOVELTY - Manufacture of graphene foam involves heating carbon source which liquefies to obtain carbon, heating gas-generating substance which produces gas, heating the resultant mixture, foaming the liquid substance and produced gas, and graphitizing the foamed liquid substance. USE - Manufacture of graphene foam (claimed). Uses include but are not limited to display screen, electric circuit, compatible battery, catalyst support component, storage device of hydrogen and lithium ion, gas sensor, air filter, heavy-metal-ion adsorption agent, sound-absorption device, porous heat insulating material, etc. ADVANTAGE - The method provides graphene foam having excellent stability, and high electron mobility and specific surface area, by economical and reliable process with three-dimensional structure. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for graphene foam, which has network structure of support of graphites and assembly of polyhedral conjugate, and graphene thin film provided on each face of polyhedral conjugate.
