NOVELTY - A perovskite solar cell comprises a transparent conductive substrate, an electron transport layer comprising two-dimensional (2D) material, a perovskite light-absorbing layer, a hole transport layer, and metal electrodes. The 2D material is chosen from tin selenide, stannous selenide, indium sulfide, transition metal sulfide, titanium sulfide, black phosphorus, metal carbide, nitride or carbonitride, and/or graphene or its oxides. The 2D material improves mobility, visible light transmittance, and photoelectric conversion efficiency of electron transport layer. USE - Perovskite solar cell. ADVANTAGE - The perovskite solar cell has excellent mobility of electron transport layer, visible light transmittance, and photoelectric conversion efficiency, stability, by using 2D material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of perovskite solar cell, which involves using deionized water, acetone, isopropyl alcohol, UV-ozone treatment glass surface, perovskite solution comprising metal halide compound of formula: AB'XmY'3-m, where A is cation chosen from methylammonium (MA), formamidinium (FA), rubidium, and cesium, B' is cation chosen from lead, tin, and germanium, X and Y' are chosen from chlorine, bromine, or iodine, and m is 1-3.
