NOVELTY - Nanocomposite material comprises graphene oxide nanosheets and metal oxide nanorods, where the metal oxide nanorods are supported on the graphene oxide nanosheets to form a micro-nano structure. USE - The material is used in preparing corrosion-resistant coating (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material has excellent compatibility with the hyperbranched alkyd resin. The material works synergistically with hyperbranched alkyd polymers to enhance mechanical property of the coating. The material resists irresistible friction and collision from the outside, improves the coating's superhydrophobicity and self-cleaning properties, improves the coating's chemical resistance and corrosion resistance, and extends the service life. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a method for preparing the nanocomposite material, involving (a) adding graphene oxide nanosheets and metal oxide nanorods to deionized water, stirring and blending to obtain first product, and (b) washing the first product with a solvent, and removing the solvent by freeze drying to obtain the nanocomposite material; (2) a corrosion-resistant coating comprising the above-mentioned nanocomposite material and a hyperbranched alkyd polymer; and (3) a method for preparing corrosion-resistant coating, involving (a1) dispersing above-mentioned nanocomposite material in the hyperbranched alkyd polymer, and adding accelerator to perform oxidation to obtain a second product, and (ii) coating the second product on the base surface of the substrate and curing to obtain the corrosion-resistant coating.
