NOVELTY - High-power graphite composite material comprises a core-shell structure, where the core is graphite, the shell is porous metal oxide material, where the mass ratio of the shell to the core is 1-10 wt.%. USE - High power graphite composite material for lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The high power graphite composite material has high energy density and quick charging performance of the graphite material, and improves the first efficiency of the material. The metal oxide coating material is compared with the soft carbon material, having a high differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) decomposition temperature, so as to improve the safety of material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a preparation method of high power graphite composite material comprising: (1) weighing organic solvent and organic metal compound at mass ratio of 100: (1 -50), dissolving at 60-200degrees Celsius to obtain metal oxide precursor solution, adding graphene conductive liquid, stirring uniformly, transferring to a reaction kettle and hydrolyzing at 200-800degrees Celsius under stirring condition, filtering, and vacuum drying to obtain porous metal oxide material; (2) weighing porous metal oxide, asphalt and conductive agent at mass ratio of (50-80): (20-80): (1-10), placing in ribbon mixer and mixing at speed of 50-100 Hz/minute for 30-300 minutes to obtain coated composite material A; and (3) weighing artificial graphite particles and coating composite material A at mass ratio of 100: (1-10), placing in fusion machine, mixing at speed of 50-100 Hz/minute for 30-300 minutes, adding the mixture into high-speed mixer to perform high-speed modified mixing, granulating at 500-800degrees Celsius for 1-6 hours; then under protection of inert gas, heating in calcining furnace, and conducting carbonization treatment at 800-1200degrees Celsiusfor 6-18 hours.
