NOVELTY - Preparing a quantum dot semi-interpenetrating network lithium-sulfur battery composite cathode material comprises (i) dispersing aluminum isopropoxide, polyacrylamide and graphene in isopropanol, heating to 60-80 degrees C and stirring for 1-2 hours to obtain a dispersion gum, (ii) mixing zinc acetate, oleic acid and 1-octadecene, heating to 260 degrees C under the protection of an inert gas, injecting a sulfur source, reacting and cooling to 120 degrees C, adding elemental sulfur and carbon sources for high-speed dispersion, cooling, washing with deionized water and drying to obtain quantum dot zinc sulfide-sulfur-carbon composites, and (iii) adding the quantum dot composite obtained in step (ii) into the dispersion gum prepared in step (i), stirring at 60-80 degrees C for 1-2 hours and spray-drying. USE - The method is useful for preparing a quantum dot semi-interpenetrating network lithium-sulfur battery composite cathode material. ADVANTAGE - The method prevents volume expansion and deformation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for quantum dot semi-interpenetrating network lithium-sulfur battery composite cathode material obtained by the method as mentioned above.
