NOVELTY - Graphene-reinforced rare earth magnesium-based composite material comprises 0.5-5 wt.% graphene, 0. 5-10 wt.% silver, and balance rare earth-magnesium alloy substrate. USE - Graphene-reinforced rare earth magnesium-based composite material. ADVANTAGE - The graphene-reinforced rare earth magnesium-based composite material has improved wettability of graphene and metal melt, and improved strength and plasticity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparation of graphene-reinforced rare earth magnesium-based composite material comprising melting rare earth magnesium alloy at 700-800degreesC, cooling to 550-650degreesC to obtain rare earth magnesium alloy semi-solid slurry, adding silver-coated graphene to rare earth magnesium alloy semi-solid slurry, mixing to obtain graphene-rare earth magnesium alloy mixed melt, heating at 700-760degreesC, performing ultrasonic and/or mechanical stirring for 5-10 minutes, pouring into mold at pressure of 5-40MPa and solidifying.
