NOVELTY - Vertical ordered array of graphene doped with heteroatoms is a vertically ordered porous structure having a pore diameter of 20-30 m and a sheet thickness of graphene of 20-50 nm. USE - Vertically ordered array of graphene doped with heteroatoms used in electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution and acts as a working electrode. ADVANTAGE - The vertically ordered array of graphene doped with heteroatomshas the characteristics of large specific surface area and multi-porosity microscopically, the three-dimensional array graphene itself has a highly ordered arrangement; the material exhibits good electrical conductivity and excellent mechanical properties, has high catalytic activity and has broad application prospects in thehydrogen evolution reaction (HER) field. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing a vertically ordered array of graphene doped with hetero atoms, involves placing mixed solution of an antifreeze, a dopant and a graphene oxide dispersion in a container, and placing the container on a copper disk, freezing and drying to obtain a graphene oxide aerogel and subjecting the graphene oxide aerogel to thermal reduction to obtain a vertically ordered array of graphene doped with hetero atoms, the dopant is boric acid, phytic acid or urea.
