▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Converting graphite oxide involving providing graphite oxide having first conductivity state; and exposing the graphite oxide to electromagnetic radiation to convert at least a portion of the graphite oxide into graphene having second conductivity state, where the second conductivity state is higher than the first conductivity state, and the electromagnetic radiation is incident on the graphite oxide at an intensity greater than 1.1 watts/cm2. USE - For converting graphitic material such as graphite oxide into graphene (claimed) for use in engineering applications. ADVANTAGE - The method allows for the large-scale synthesis of graphene using a single-step approach, which may improve the availability and utility of graphene; is rapid and environmentally friendly, using low temperatures, particularly when compared to conventional techniques. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a kit for converting graphitic material comprising an apparatus for generating electromagnetic radiation of desired intensity; and instructions for exposing the first graphitic material to electromagnetic radiation to convert the first graphitic material into a second graphitic material having a higher conductivity state.
