▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A method of treating water comprises providing a water comprising a first concentration of organic contaminant(s), performing a first treatment on the water effective to oxidize a predetermined amount of the organic contaminants and produce a first treated water having a second concentration of the contaminants; and electrochemically treating the first water with an electrochemical cell comprising a cathode and an anode comprising an anodic oxidation material to produce a second treated water. The first treatment is selected from an advanced oxidation process (AOP) with a hydrogen peroxide containing reagent, an UV-AOP, an ultrasonic cavitation, or electrochemical AOP. USE - The method is useful for treating water comprising at least one organic contaminant. The method can be used in the treatment of water with oxidation and electrochemical processes, e.g. advanced oxidation process (AOP) with hydrogen peroxide containing reagent, UV-AOP, ultrasonic cavitation advanced oxidation, or electrochemical advanced oxidation. ADVANTAGE - The method is effective to oxidize a predetermined amount of the organic contaminant and produce a first treated water having a second concentration of the contaminant. The method controls the parameters of the first treatment in response to the measured concentration of at least one contaminant; and controls the parameter of the second treatment based on the measured concentrations of the contaminants in the treated water and the second treated water. The first treatment is selected from an advanced oxidation process (AOP) with a hydrogen peroxide containing reagent, an UV-AOP, an ultrasonic cavitation advanced oxidation processes, and an electrochemical advanced oxidation (ECO) process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a system for treating water.
