NOVELTY - Modified graphene, i.e., a porous calcium carbonate modified graphene prepared by depositing porous calcium carbonate on the surface of the graphene. USE - The modified graphene is useful in resin. ADVANTAGE - The modified graphene improves the strength and toughness of the resin. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing the modified graphene comprising (i) adding the graphene, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, carboxymethyl cellulose into water, and grinding to obtain graphene dispersion liquid, (ii) adding the graphene dispersion liquid, calcium hydroxide saturated solution into emulsifying machine to emulsify and disperse, centrifuging, freezing and drying to obtain the porous calcium carbonate modified grapheme; (2) complex resin, comprising 0.01-0.5 pts. wt. modified graphene, 100-500 pts. wt. resin, and 0-5 pts. wt. additives; and (3) preparing the complex resin comprising stirring uniformly the modified graphene, resin, auxiliary agent, extruding by double-screw extruder, granulating, and drying.
