NOVELTY - Preparing graphene composite polyethylene material comprises (i) dissolving the graphene oxide in the first ethanol aqueous solution, spraying, drying and grinding to obtain the pleated graphene oxide; (ii) adding the pleated graphene oxide into water, dispersing ultrasonically and uniformly, adding aqueous ammonia and hydrazine hydrate, carrying out first heating reaction, filtering and washing to obtain the pleated graphene; (iii) dispersing uniformly the pleated graphene in the second ethanol aqueous solution, adding silane coupling agent containing double bond, carrying out second heating reaction and filtering to obtain the modified pleated graphene; (iv) mixing and dispersing the compatibilizer, lubricant and antioxidant to obtain the premix; and (v) adding polyethylene resin into the double screw extruder, heating to melt, adding modified wrinkle graphene and initiator, mixing and stirring , adding the premix, stirring , extruding, water cooling, bracing and cutting. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene composite polyethylene material. ADVANTAGE - The method prepares graphene composite polyethylene material with good mechanical, barrier and improved antistatic properties and good dispersion effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene composite polyethylene material comprises (i) dissolving the graphene oxide in the first ethanol aqueous solution, spraying, drying and grinding to obtain the pleated graphene oxide; (ii) adding the pleated graphene oxide into water, dispersing ultrasonically and uniformly, adding aqueous ammonia and hydrazine hydrate, carrying out first heating reaction, filtering and washing to obtain the pleated graphene; (iii) dispersing uniformly the pleated graphene in the second ethanol aqueous solution, adding silane coupling agent containing double bond, carrying out second heating reaction and filtering to obtain the modified pleated graphene; (iv) mixing and dispersing the compatibilizer, lubricant and antioxidant at high speed to obtain the premix; and (v) adding polyethylene resin into the double screw extruder, heating to melt, adding modified wrinkle graphene and initiator, mixing and stirring for 1-3 hours, adding the premix, stirring continuously for 2-4 hours, extruding, water cooling, bracing and cutting. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for graphene composite polyethylene material, prepared as mentioned above.
