NOVELTY - A graphene reinforced copper matrix composite material comprises 0.5-5 wt.% surface modified graphene, 2-5 wt.% graphite, 15-26 wt.% titanium-silicon-carbide and the balance amount of copper. The surface-modified graphene is gallic acid-modified graphene. USE - Graphene reinforced copper matrix composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The surface modified graphene has excellent dispersion effect and low impurity content and maintains complete surface topography. The composite material has improved mechanical and tribological properties, excellent strength and impact resistance, and is prepared by simple process.
