NOVELTY - Sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone)-amino acid-modified graphene oxide hybrid film, is claimed. The thickness of the film is 60-85 mu m. The mass ratio of sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone)-amino acid-modified graphene oxide, is 0.92-0.98:0.08-0.02. The degree of sulfonation of sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone), is 45-100%. USE - The film is useful in carbon dioxide/methane mixed gas separation (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The film has high selectivity and permeability. The method is simple, utilizes easily available raw materials, and has mild reaction conditions. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing the film, comprising (i) carrying out Hummer's method to prepare graphene oxide, adding 98 wt.% concentrated sulfuric acid into a reaction vessel, and then placing the reaction vessel in an ice bath with vigorous stirring, mixing by adding sodium nitrate into graphene sheet with mixing, vigorously stirring, and slowly adding potassium permanganate in batches to obtain mixture A, adding potassium permanganate into the reaction system with temperature not exceeding 20 degrees C, where the mass ratio of graphene sheet and sodium nitrate, is 1-5:1, and the mass ratio of graphite sheet and potassium permanganate, is 1:1-10, and the amount of concentrated sulfuric acid added into graphene sheet, is 2-10 wt.%, and then continuously stirring the mixture A at 273-283 K at 1-5 hours, and then transferring the mixture A into a water bath at constant temperature at 50-50 degrees C, and maintaining the stirring time at 20-60 minutes, and slowly adding deionized water into mixture A, controlling the speed addition of water into the reaction system at a temperature of not greater than 100 degrees C, increasing the water bath temperature to 70-120 degrees C, and then maintaining the constant temperature for 2-8 hours, diluting the reactant by adding de-ionized water, adding 30% hydrogen peroxide, removing residual potassium permanganate and manganese dioxide, filtering while the mixture is hot, washing using 5% hydrochloric acid, and washing using distilled water until the pH is neutral, to obtain graphene oxide, (ii) preparing amino-modified graphene oxide by adding tris-hydrochloric acid having ph of 8.5 into 2 mg/ml dopamine, adding dopamine into graphene oxide solution, where the mass ratio of graphene oxide and dopamine, is 1:1-4, and reacting with stirring at room temperature for 5-24 hours, centrifugally separating, washing with water, then washing using anhydrous ethanol, drying to obtain modified graphene oxide, adding dopamine modified graphene oxide with cysteine, in a mass ratio of 1:1-5, and adding 1-10% aqueous solution of cysteine into the dopamine modified graphene oxide, and reacting the mixture by placing in an oil bath at 40-65 degrees c for 10-24 hours, cooling, centrifuging, washing using water, and then washing using anhydrous ethanol, and drying to obtain the product, and (iii) stirring sulfonated polyether ether ketone by adding N,N-dimethylacetamide solvent at room temperature, and adding 5-20% sulfonated polyether ether ketone into solution A, and adding sulfonated polyether ether ketone into resulting amino acid-modified graphene oxide in a mass ratio of 0.85-0.95: 0.15-0.05, adding amino acid-modified graphene oxide into the solution A, ultrasonically dispersing for 5-24 hours, allowing to stand for 1-5 hours to de-foam to obtain the sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone)-amino acid-modified graphene oxide-casting liquid, pouring the casting liquid into a glass petri dish, drying for 12 hours at 60 degrees C, and then drying at 80 degrees C for 12 hours, to obtain the final product; and (2) use of film in carbon dioxide/methane mixed gas separation, where the selectivity is 30-41, and the permeability is 747-2431 barrer.
