NOVELTY - Preparing recyclable polypropylene/styrene-ethylene/butylene-styrene (SEBS)/graphene oxide cable material comprises adding modified graphene oxide to SEBS modified polypropylene material, extruding and granulating by a double screw extruder, modifying graphene oxide with phenyl isocyanate, preparing graphene oxide and SEBS complex material, melting and mixing with polypropylene. USE - The method is useful for preparing recyclable polypropylene/styrene-ethylene/butylene-styrene /graphene oxide cable material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: improves the mechanical properties of polypropylene by introducing SEBS; improves ability to suppress space charge of polypropylene cable material by adding 0.12 wt.% graphene oxide; and produces material having higher direct current breakdown strength than the pure polypropylene material.
