NOVELTY - Lead-acid storage battery positive electrode and paste additive comprises 6-10 pts. wt. modified 4-hydroxy-4-sulfonate (4BS), 6-13 pts. wt. composite graphite fiber, and 5-12 pts. wt. liquid-phase silicon dioxide. USE - Positive electrode and paste additive for a lead-acid storage battery i.e. lithium-ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The lead-acid storage battery positive electrode and paste additive inhibits positive plate lead paste crystal softening caused by positive plate active material falling when charging and discharging circulation, thus prolonging the service life of the lead acid storage battery.
