NOVELTY - Expandable aqueous coating contains film-forming material, dehydrated carbon-forming catalyst, foaming agent, charcoal, filler and flame retardant, expandable graphite, modified graphene oxide, processing aid, aqueous curing agent and water. The film-forming material comprises aqueous epoxy emulsion, silicone-acrylic emulsion and acrylate emulsion. The processing aid comprises dispersing aid, defoaming agent, thickening agent, multifunctional aid and film-forming aid. USE - Expandable aqueous coating (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The expandable aqueous coating is prepared by simple method and environmentally-friendly, and has excellent fireproof performance, water resistance and heat resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An expandable aqueous coating contains 25-31 pts. wt. film-forming material, 12-22 pts. wt. dehydrated carbon-forming catalyst, 4-10 pts. wt. foaming agent, 7-12 pts. wt. charcoal, 2-5 pts. wt. filler and flame retardant, 2-4 pts. wt. expandable graphite, 0.7-15 pts. wt. modified graphene oxide, 1-5 pts. wt. processing aid, 4-10 pts. wt. aqueous curing agent and 15-28 pts. wt. water. The film-forming material comprises aqueous epoxy emulsion, silicone-acrylic emulsion and acrylate emulsion in mass ratio of 1.5-2.5:1.5-2:0.5-1. The mass ratio of aqueous epoxy emulsion and aqueous curing agent is 1:0.25-0.75. The processing aid comprises dispersing aid, defoaming agent, thickening agent, multifunctional aid and film-forming aid. The modified graphene oxide has structure of formula (I). INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation method of expandable aqueous coating, which involves mixing dehydrated carbon-forming catalyst, charcoal, dispersing aid, defoaming agent, multifunctional aid, aqueous epoxy emulsion, film-forming aid and aqueous curing agent, then adding film-forming material to obtain mixed emulsion, adding mixed emulsion to the slurry and evenly mixing and then adding thickening agent to adjust the viscosity of 95-100 KU; and (2) preparation method modified graphene oxide, which involves ultrasonically dispersing in solvent (A) and stirring under protection of nitrogen, then adding aminopropyltriethoxysilane and heating at 60-80 degrees C for 6-15 hours, washing the mixture with water to obtain aminopropyltriethoxysilane modified graphene oxide, ultrasonically dispersing aminopropyltriethoxysilane modified graphene oxide in solvent (B) and stirring, then adding triglycidyl isocyanurate and reacting at 80-90 degrees C for 10-15 hours, then adding 9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene 10-oxide, heating at 125-135 degrees C for 6-8 hours, filtering and washing, where the mass ratio of graphene and aminopropyltriethoxysilane is 1:4.4-4.6, the mass ratio of aminopropyltriethoxysilane modified graphene oxide, triglycidyl isocyanurate and 9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene 10-oxide is 1:2.5-5:2.1-2.2, the solvent A is water and/or ethanol in volume ratio of 1:15-20, and the solvent B is N,N-dimethylformamide or dioxane.
