NOVELTY - Graphene-based composite negative electrode material comprises large granule core, small particles adhered to the surface of the large granule core, and graphene interspersed between the large granule core and small particles, where large granule core and small particles are made of graphite material, and the source of the small particle is graphite tailing. USE - The graphene-based composite negative electrode material is used for lithium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene-based composite negative electrode material has stable structure, good orientation, good conductivity, high rate performance, and excellent liquid-absorbing performance and circulating performance, which can satisfy all kinds of requirements in the application. The preparation of the electrode material has simple production flow, precise process control, no rigorous condition, easy industrialization, and low cost, and avoids resource waste. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the electrode material comprising mixing graphite precursor main material, graphite oxide,graphite tailing and polymeric additive, to obtain the mixed material, under the protective atmosphere, subjecting the mixed material for polymerization, obtaining polymer particles, under the protective atmosphere, and performing graphitization treatment.
