NOVELTY - Preparing nitrogen-doped graphene, comprises (i) adding ammonium thiocyanate and carbon source into mortar and grinding uniformly to obtain solid powder mixture, and placing the solid powder mixture in oven at 50-80 degrees C for 2-4 hours to obtain precursor, where mass ratio between ammonium thiocyanate and carbon source is 5-15:1, and (ii) transferring precursor into porcelain, placing the boat in tube furnace for pyrolysis and protecting tube furnace by nitrogen gas, first heating tube furnace at a rate of 3-7 degrees C/minutes to a temperature of 540-580 degrees C for 1-3 hours, then raising the temperature to 6-10 degrees C/minutes to the furnace chamber temperature of 750-950 degrees C, performing heat preservation for 0.5-1.5 hours, then cooling temperature inside the furnace chamber to room temperature, and taking out the product to obtain nitrogen-doped graphene. USE - The method is useful for preparing nitrogen-doped graphene.
