NOVELTY - Preparing wax-free pad involves taking 30-40 pts. wt. epoxy resin prepolymer, 20-30 pts. wt. modified curing agent and 2-4 pts. wt. abrasive, adding epoxy resin prepolymer into the reactor, adding abrasives and modified curing agent, stirring for 3-6 hours at 70-110 degrees C, and then injection molding and solidification forming, and prepared wax-free pad for polishing. USE - Method for preparing wax-free pad in polishing a low-damage optical crystal sheet. ADVANTAGE - The method ensures material having increased tensile strength, flexural strength and impact strength of epoxy resin, and the shortcomings of poor toughness of epoxy resin are improved.
