NOVELTY - Antimicrobial composition comprises a poly diallyl dialkyl ammonium salt, a poly(acrylamide-co-diallyldialkylammonium salt), or their combination. USE - Antimicrobial composition. ADVANTAGE - The composition eliminates the use of chemical cross-linking agents, and reduces toxicity and other undesirable effects of the reagents or is water-soluble. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for killing microbes on a surface, which involves applying to the surface the antimicrobial composition and a carrier.
