NOVELTY - A flame retardant waterproof polyurethane elastomer contains modified polyol, hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene, p-phenylene diisocyanate, catalyst, methyl ethyl ketone, 1,2-bis(4'-hydroxyphenyl)adjacent carbon decaborane (sic), epoxy resin, dodecafluoroheptyl methacrylate and graphene oxide. The modified polyol is prepared by mixing dibromo butanediol, tetrahydrofuran and triethylamine, introducing argon gas, heating, then adding 35-55 %mass ethylene dichloride, stirring, filtering, decompressing and distilling. USE - Flame retardant waterproof polyurethane elastomer (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The polyurethane elastomer is prepared by simple method, and has excellent water resistance, flame resistance and strength and long service life. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A flame retardant waterproof polyurethane elastomer contains 20-50 pts. wt. modified polyol, 5-15 pts. wt. hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene, 50-85 pts. wt. p-phenylene diisocyanate, 0.1-0.5 pt. wt. catalyst, 30-50 pts. wt. methyl ethyl ketone, 3-15 pts. wt. 1,2-bis(4'-hydroxyphenyl)adjacent carbon decaborane (sic), 5-15 pts. wt. epoxy resin, 3-15 pts. wt. dodecafluoroheptyl methacrylate and 10 pts. wt. graphene oxide. The modified polyol is prepared by mixing 100-120 pts. wt. dibromo butanediol, 150-200 pts. wt. tetrahydrofuran and 35-45 pts. wt. triethylamine, introducing argon gas, heating at 62-75 degrees C, then adding 35-55 %mass ethylene dichloride, stirring for 3-5 hours, filtering, decompressing and distilling. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of flame retardant waterproof polyurethane elastomer, which involves mixing p-phenylene diisocyanate, catalyst, hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene, modified polyol and 1,2-bis(4'-hydroxyphenyl)adjacent carbon decaborane (sic) under the protection of argon, heating reaction mixture at 65-75 degrees C for 1-2.5 hours, cooling to room temperature to obtain polyurethane prepolymer, mixing polyurethane prepolymer, hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene, epoxy resin, methyl ethyl ketone, dodecafluoroheptyl methacrylate and graphene oxide, stirring mixed material, and drying in vacuum oven at 65-75 degrees C for 3-6 hours.
